2. Vinegar

Vinegar is popular in many types of disorder and it is also very effective in reducing pain and inflammation due to strains or sprains. Pour hot water in a tub. Add 2 tbsp. of vinegar on it. You can also add Epsom salt or sea salt in it. You can use table salt if they are not available. Soak your feet in it for twenty minutes. If you want you can place the mixture in equal amounts of water and vinegar in two containers. Use the hot water in one and the cold water in the other. Submerge a towel in the hot mixture, remove the excess liquid and then wrap it around your painful foot. Let it stay for five minutes. Repeat the process using a cold mixture. You can repeat the process 3 to 4 times a day.

3. Ice

One way of reducing the pain and swelling of your feet is by the use of ice therapy. In a small plastic bag add a small amount of crushed ice and use it to massage the painful part in a circular movement. You can likewise use a bag of frozen veggies wrapped in a thin cloth. The cold temperature will numb the nerve endings for a moment and thus provide relief. It also reduces the swelling of your feet. Do not use an ice pack for more than ten minutes at one time. 4. Epsom Salt

Alternatively, you can add one-half teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder to a bucket of hot water and submerge your feet on it for several minutes. 6. Clove Oil

7. Mustard Seeds
